All organisations operating within the highway electrical sector must be registered to the Highway Electrical Registration Scheme (HERS), the scheme works to ensure all organisations operating within the sector are fully compliant with NHSS8.
All registered, or prospectively registered, organisations must appoint an Authorising Officer (AO) and Qualified Supervisor (QS) who must complete the relevant training.
